Brendan ran the project to merge our two Active Directory domains. Because of his thorough planning and execution, I was able to spend the afternoon of the implementation out of the office at our annual staff picnic day, with only two calls from Brendan: one when he started the work, and another when he was done.
Karl recently reviewed our UPS system and made some recommendations which we implemented soon after. Two weekends later there was a blackout, at a time when AJS was working weekends and evenings on a customer project. I’m pleased to report that the UPS system behaved perfectly. Every server shut down cleanly and restarted automatically when the power was restored, avoiding a trip to the office on the weekend and extended downtime."
